What's a Sunday morning service like?
What you can expect to experience.
Sunday mornings are obviously the highlight at Community Church. It is our chance to all come together for the same purpose---to worship and grow!
Our worship service starts at 10:30 am. We have friendly greeters to help you navigate where to go. Got little children? We have nursery services available as well as children's activities during the service. Or, you can keep your kids with you as you come into the Worship Center. Either way, we want to make sure your experience is one the whole family will enjoy.
There's quite a bit of milling around before the service starts. Don't be suprised if several people come up and shake your hand and introduce themselves. That's one of the great things about Community Church. There are no strangers!
Once the actual service starts, Rachel Treutelaar, our Music and Worship Arts Leader, will begin to lead in the music. Don't worry if you don't know the songs. The lyrics are displayed on screens in the front of the room to help us all out. The music is lively and at the same time reflective. We have an incredible worship team who will present songs during the service that you'll be humming all week.
Usually there is something exciting going on in the life of the church and we take the time to share that during the service. Of course, there is also the preaching. After the service you'll wonder where the last hour just went! Again, you'll probably be greeted by several more people before you make your way to the door. They're a friendly bunch!
Overall, Sunday Mornings are designed for you to experience what it is like to be a part of Community Church. It is also designed to help you connect with God, the reason we have the church in the first place. We look forward to seeing you!
